FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
about Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Assessments
What is a TPI assessment?
A TPI assessment, conducted by our TPI Certified Coaches, is a comprehensive 16-point evaluation focused on understanding the unique characteristics of your body's movements during a golf swing. This assessment helps us identify any physical limitations that may impact your golfing performance.
What can I expect during a TPI assessment?
The process begins with a consultation with your coach, during which the two of you will outline your goals and potential limitations. This will be followed by a series of non-strenuous evaluations designed to determine your body's golf-related physical abilities. This process aids in establishing a deeper understanding of your body-swing connection, paving the way for effective performance-enhancement strategies.
What follows a TPI assessment?
After the assessment, your coach will discuss any detected physical constraints with you, and you'll be provided with a Golf Fitness Handicap. Equipped with detailed knowledge of your body's golf swing mechanics, we'll devise a custom-tailored regimen to enhance your performance and mitigate golf-associated injury risks.

You can conveniently access your personalized program and assessment findings through the MyTPI app. Once you're adept at the prescribed exercises, you can schedule a subsequent assessment to monitor your advancements and adjust your program accordingly.
